We aim to provide a superior experience when using our tools
We take pride in our craft for creating tools. We provide quality tools which can cut beautifully, have a great balance and are easy to maintain. There are many types of shears, and their shapes and uses differ depending on regions. We’re a blacksmith who actively innovates and develops products to meet users’ needs by listening to their feedback.

We take pride in our blacksmithing heritage
We say our employees ‘Let’s be like the blacksmith of old days’, they took pride in their work and spent lifetimes honing their craft. When I first visited a customer to finalise an order, I was told that "good products can definitely sell at any time”. Unfortunately, the number of traditional blacksmiths has been steadily decreasing. That is why we aim to be a blacksmith company who can, like our predecessors did, listen to customers’ requirements and create products that satisfy them. We continue to refine our work and strive to be a manufacturer who is recommended among both professional and enthusiast users.

Years and technology
YOSHIOKA EDGED-TOOL WORKS Was founded by Kihachi Yoshioka, the grandfather of the current owner. They manufactured dressmaking shears in Kita-cho, Ono City in 1946 and they later moved to the current location. Since 1973, the company has been manufacturing secateurs, root cutters, hedge shears and now covers all sort of garden edged tools.
